“The apparent increase in firearms incidents in recent times remains a priority for Bermuda Police Service. Every such incident has the potential to claim a life or cause debilitating injury. While our efforts to rid the community of illegal firearms have had some success, clearly, there is still a lot of work to be done. However, that work must involve you the public coming forward and providing any information you may have regarding illegal firearms or persons involved in accessing these weapons.
“An investigation into this latest firearms matter is now underway and anyone with information is asked to call Detective Sergeant Odessa Philip of the Serious Crime Unit at 247-1347, 717-2193 or email at Ophilip@bps.bm.”
