LeiLanni Nesbeth Receives Golden Nole Award
LeiLanni Nesbeth has been recognised by Florida State University [FSU] for her services to football at the 30th Annual Golden Nole Awards Celebration at the Ruby Auditorium on the Florida State University campus at the weekend.
Nesbeth, who helped FSU win the NCAA Championship title last season, defeating Stanford 5-1 in the final, received the Golden Nole for football.
The Bermuda women’s national team midfielder was also presented with a special award for services to the community – the ACC Top 6 for Service Award.
Nesbeth, 22, was selected in the tenth round by the Chicago Red Stars in the National Women’s Soccer League [NWSL] Draft in January.
She made her debut for Chicago in a 2-1 win at home to Seattle Reign in the league in March, coming on as a second-half substitute.
