BFA Women’s League: Somerset & PHC Win
Somerset Lady Trojans and PHC Lady Zebras clinched victories in Bermuda Football Association’s women’s league season.
Dandy Stars 1 – Somerset Lady Trojans 3
The Somerset Lady Trojans came from behind to defeat the Dandy Stars 3 – 1.
Kaula Davis gave Dandy Stars the lead in the 5th minute, but four minutes later Jazae Smith blasted the Somerset Lady Trojans equalizer.
In the 31st minute, Katherine Bean-Rosario gave the Somerset Lady Trojans the lead, and then in the 60th minute, Symira Lowe-Darrell would make it 3 – 0 to the Somerset Lady Trojans.
Vasco 0 – PHC Lady Zebras 5
The PHC Lady Zebras defeated Vasco 5 – 0 in the nightcap; the PHC Lady Zebras got two strikes from Dem Salter and single strikes from Taznae Fubler, Eva Tuzo and Destiny Minors. All the goals came in the first half of play.
