Boulevard Delighted With Fair Play Award
Boulevard Blazers said they were proud to receive the Fair Play Award at the Bermuda Football Association annual awards ceremony at the Earl Cameron Theatre at City Hall on Sunday [April 28].
Boulevard, who finished fifth in the First Division table, said the award was “testament to the values we are committed to instilling in our players.”
The club wrote on Instagram: “It gives us great pleasure to announce Boulevard Community Club was honoured to receive the Fair Play Award at the BFA Award Ceremony.
“Our hearts are full of gratitude for this recognition as it is reassuring that we are taking steps in the right direction.
“Good Sportsmanship goes beyond the game; it starts with respect.
“A wise man once said: ‘The strongest people are not always the people who win, but the people who don’t give up when they lose.’
“These are the principles we want our players to always emulate and set the example for our youth programmes as well.
“Well done Boulevard, let’s continue to work towards emulating these values and becoming the best versions of ourselves on and off the pitch.”
