Video: Jacob Madeiros Scores In Semi-Finals
Bermudian footballer Jacob Madeiros helped May River Sharks reach the semi-finals of the Lower State Championship in Charleston, South Carolina, on Friday [May 3].
Madeiros, playing his final game for the Bluffton-based school, scored the opening goal of the game from a free kick.
The Bermuda Under-20 forward scored twice in a 5-3 win away to AC Flora High School in the quarter-finals last Wednesday.
Madeiros, who captains his side, has been named All-Region for the second successive year and selected for the South in the North-South All-Star Classic to be held in Anderson, South Carolina, next month.
