Robin Horsfield Finishes Third In Ontario
Robin Horsfield made a strong start to the Canada Cup Mountain Bike Race Series after coming third in the Trek Store Ontario Cup Short Track at Hardwood Hills in Ontario Friday [May 17].
Horsfield, who claimed his fifth successive title in the Winners Edge Mountain Bike Cross Country National Championships in Southlands, Warwick, in March, completed the elite men’s course in 22min 42.7sec.
Horsfield, who competes for Royal City Racing in Ontario, has committed the next two years to chasing his dreams of turning professional.
Ranked as the top rider in the province of Ontario last season, Horsfield is again competing in the seven-race Canada Cup as he builds towards the Pan American Mountain Bike Championships at Soldier Hollow in Wasatch County, Utah, next month.
