Bermuda Defeat Guatemala In Davis Cup Action
The Americas Group III of the Davis Cup moved into day three of the tournament in Paraguay.
Bermuda is in pool B which features Bermuda alongside Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Guatemala.
A day after their bye, Bermuda took on Guatemala edging them 2 – 1.
Trey Mallory would take to the court for the 1st singles match taking on Kaeri Hernandez Mariona where he won in straight sets 6-0, 6-3.
Daniel Phillips was next on the court and gave Bermuda the win following his straights sets victory over Juan Sebastian Dominguez.
Guatemala took the lead when they won the doubles match-up, as Jack Keyes and Tariq Simmons took on Gabrriel Porras and Kent Tagashira who won in straight sets 6-3, 6-1.
