Bermuda Olympic Logo Unveiled On BermudAir
BermudAir is soaring to new heights with the Bermuda Olympic Association, as the airline has proudly emblazoned the Team Bermuda Olympic logo on its aircraft, symbolizing their high-flying partnership to support Bermuda’s Olympic team.
A spokesperson said, “The Team Bermuda Olympic logo is now proudly displayed on BermudAir aircraft. This reflects the company’s partnership with the Bermuda Olympic Association as Official Airline of Team Bermuda, established in advance of the 2024 Games in Paris.
“BermudAir’s support includes helping to promote Team Bermuda and the Association to other potential sponsors and the public in various ways. Displaying the Team Bermuda logo on BermudAir aircraft is one element of that promotion. Tariq Lynch-Wade, Head of Safety at BermudAir, is pictured with the logo in situ on location at L.F. Wade International Airport after it was installed.”
Bermuda will be fielding a strong team in the 2024 Olympics in Paris, the island has three triathletes qualified – marking the largest triathlon team Bermuda has ever sent to the Olympics — with defending gold medalist Dame Flora Duffy, Tyler Smith and Erica Hawley to compete. Sailor Adriana Penruddocke and rower Dara Alizadeh have also qualified, and other Bermuda athletes have not yet been officially announced, however as they have met the universality standard, it is likely the BOA will announce additional qualified athletes in the coming days.
