Bermuda Resume Ball Hockey Championships
Bermuda continued competing in the ball hockey men’s world championship in Switzerland.
Bermuda matched up against Great Britain in pool B quarter-final action, where they lost 6 – 4.
Jason Smith scored two goals for Great Britain in the first period, while Chris Merritt scored for Bermuda as Great Britain led 2 – 1 at the break.
In the second period, Elliot Lewis, Vojtech Kristof, and Thomas Cole all scored a goal each for Great Britain, while Pete Brodsky and Robbie Bailey scored a goal each for Bermuda as Great Britain led 5 – 3.
In the final period, Great Britain got a second goal off the stick of Cole, while Bermuda got a strike from Shane Matchett as they went down 6 – 4.
