Minister Wilson Participates In CPR Training
In celebration of CPR AED Awareness last week, the Bermuda Hospitals Board offered public Heartsaver CPR [Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation] and AED [Automated External Defibrillator] training, attended by Minister of Health Kim Wilson and her daughter, Niara Simmons.
“The CPR and AED training equips us with valuable life-saving skills and instills a sense of preparedness and confidence in handling emergencies,” said Minister Wilson. “I believe that we are both prepared to respond effectively in critical situations, and potentially save a life.
“Whether you’re a healthcare professional, a parent, a teacher, or just a concerned citizen, having the skills to respond effectively to cardiac emergencies can significantly improve someone’s chance of survival. CPR AED training is indeed essential and highly recommended for everyone.”
