Penruddocke Steps Up Paris Preparations
Bermuda sailor Adriana Penruddocke is stepping up her preparations as she builds towards the Olympic Games in Paris this summer.
Penruddocke has been busy acclimatising to the conditions at the Marseille Marina in the Mediterranean Sea, where she will compete in the women’s dinghy ILCA 6, since the beginning of the month.
She secured her qualifying spot after finishing sixth in her final race at the Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile, in November last year to seal one of the available North American Olympic places.
“Making progress in Marseille,” Penruddocke wrote on Instagram on Monday [June 17].
“Some racing now before the final block to come.”
