Archers Head To Final Olympic Qualifier
Three Bermuda archers will look to impress at the Antalya Final World Qualification Tournament – the final qualifier for the Olympic Games in Paris – in Antalya, Turkey.
Camerin Pickering, Jaydon Roberts and Bernard Wade III head to Turkey today [June 11], where they will compete in the men’s recurve competition, hoping to secure an individual or team spot for Paris. Coach Ross Roberts has accompanied the team.
Pickering is already eligible for a universality berth for small nations after achieving the qualification score of 640; meanwhile, Jaydon Roberts recently qualified for the Junior Pan American Games in Asuncion, Paraguay, next summer.
The trio get their competition underway on Saturday.
