Khano Smith’s Rhode Island Earn Point
Khano Smith’s Rhode Island FC earned a point after a 1-1 draw away to Hartford Athletic in the USL Championship yesterday [June 1].
Mark Doyle gave the visiting side the lead in the fourth minute before Joseph Farrell equalised in the 24th minute for Hartford.
Smith, a former Bermuda and New England Revolution winger, was appointed as head coach and general manager of Rhode Island in March last year.
His side, who are eleventh in the Eastern Conference with 11 points, are at home to Detroit City on Saturday [June 8].
