Bacchanal Run Scheduled For August 3rd
The Bacchanal Run will be held on August 3rd, with the organizers saying that it will “transform the streets into a kaleidoscope of colour, energy, and unity.”
A spokesperson said, “The Bacchanal Run has emerged as a staple event on the Cup match Holiday weekend, solidifying its place as the highlight of Cup match Saturday. This vibrant celebration, steeped in the spirit of freedom, emancipation, and unbridled joy, transforms the streets into a kaleidoscope of colour, energy, and unity.”
“Since its inception in 2016, when it began with just 300 people following a music truck, the Bacchanal Run: Non – Marathon has grown exponentially. Today, it stands as one of Bermuda’s most iconic and historic events, drawing locals and international visitors alike to partake in the revelry. As Keidric Smith, Head of Party People Entertainment, notes, “It’s honestly amazing to see the growth of the event and how the experience has developed, it’s our team’s favourite event of the year and we are looking forward to introducing some new elements in 2024.”
“Scheduled for Saturday, August 3rd, from 5 pm to 11 pm, this year’s Bacchanal Run promises a world-class lineup of DJs, including International DJs Elegance Sound and Bermuda’s best DJs: DJ Rusty G, DJ Mystro, DJ Jim Brown, and Mista Genius. The event will feature 90% Soca and 10% DJs’ choice, and they are ready to set the road on fire! Additionally, the event features multiple food vendors, including PSSST Takeout Bistro, Sensational Delights, and The Spot Restaurant and Bar, ensuring a delightful culinary experience for all attendees.
