BEDC To Host ‘Business Essentials’ Event
The Bermuda Economic Development Corporation announced a Lunch & Learn event on July 25, 2024, to guide entrepreneurs through the business registration process in Bermuda.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Economic Development Corporation [BEDC] is pleased to announce an upcoming Lunch & Learn event, “Business Essentials: Step-by-Step Business Registration from Application to Compliance.” This informative session will be held on Thursday, July 25, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the training room at the BEDC Main office, located at 48 Church Street, 1st Floor Sofia House.
“This event is designed to guide aspiring entrepreneurs through the crucial steps of registering a business in Bermuda. Attendees will gain insights into the entire process, from application to ensuring compliance. The session will cover how to correctly apply for your business registration and avoid common pitfalls, as well as understanding the key documents and information needed to officially register your business. Participants will also learn about the types of insurance necessary to protect their business and ensure compliance, along with gaining a clear overview of the tax responsibilities they will need to manage as business owners.
