Jr Caribbean Squash Championships Day Two
Bermuda junior squash players took to the court for day two of the annual Junior Caribbean Squash Championships.
Number one seed, Mason Smith breezed through to the boy’s under 11 division final, he defeated Devon Mellor from the British Virgin Islands 11-2, 11-6, 11-6. In his All-Bermuda semi-final match, Smith defeated George Qureshi 11-1, 11-3, 11-1. Number two seed in the division, Benjamin Sherratt set up an all Bermuda final, after he defeated Savante Padmore from St. Vincent 11-5, 11-5, 11-2, Sherratt would then win his semi-final match defeating Finn Graham from Barbados11-9, 11-3, 11-8.
In the under 13 boy’s division, James Bigley went down to Ethan Cyrus 11-1, 11-5, 11-7.
In the boys under 15 boy’s division number two seed in the division Owen Rosoreea went down in the semi-finals against three seed Daniel Sealy Gaebados 11-6, 11-6, 11-9.
In the boy’s under 17 division, William Frith went down to Daniel Henderson from St, Vincent 11-3, 11-5, 11-0.
In the boy’s under 19 division Ethan Rosorea went down to Alex Stewart from Barbados 11-2, 11-0, 11-0.
Somers Stevenson went down in her girls under 17 division match 11-9, 11-1, 11-4 to Sarrayah Summer from Barbados.
In the girls under 19 division, Gabrielle Turchiaro went down to Katherine Risden from Jamaica 11-5, 11-5, 11-2.
