Robin Horsfield Earns Second In Ontario Cup
Bermuda National Mountain Bike Champion Robin Horsfield competed in Ontario Cup #5, where Horsfield secured second place after a sprint finish.
A spokesperson said, “Noah Ramsay returned from his World Cup season to contest Ontario Cup #5 held at Mansfield, Ontario.
“Bermuda National Mountain Bike Champion Robin Horsfield also appeared at the event, using it as a training race between his Canada Cup races. Horsfield, Ramsay, and Ontario veteran rider Matthew Martindale spent 3 laps riding together off the front of the race before Ramsay attacked in lap 4, leaving Horsfield and Martindale to battle for the final two podium positions. Horsfield edged the veteran Martindale in a sprint to the line.
“Horsfield, who won the Ontario Cup series last year and has thus focused on the national level Canada Cup series, is currently ranked 5th in the Canada Cup series.”
