Dame Flora Duffy touched down in Paris this morning [July 25] with her husband Dan Hugo and coach Jessica West.

Duffy, who won the women’s triathlon at the rescheduled Tokyo Games in 2021, was greeted at the Charles de Gaulle Airport by Katura Horton-Perinchief, the Bermuda chef de mission.

The multiple time-time world champion headed straight to Poissy in the western suburbs of the city, where she joined fellow Bermuda triathletes Tyler Smith and Erica Hawley at a hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the Olympic Village.

Smith competes in the men’s triathlon on Tuesday [July 30], while Duffy and Hawley race the following day.

Both races will start on the River Seine beneath the Pont Alexandre III bridge.
