Video: DeSilva-Andrade Wins Medal In Portugal
Yushae DeSilva-Andrade won a silver medal at the Povoa World Boccia Cup in Portugal today [July 13].
The Bermudian, who competes in the women’s BC1 Division, defeated an opponent from Israel to advance to the semifinals, where she then defeated an opponent from Croatia to advance to the finals, where she lost to Brazil’s Andreza De Oliveira.
DeSilva-Andrade is warming up for the Paralympic Games in Paris, which will be held from August 28 to September 8.
