Team Bermuda dazzled in their specially designed outfits while sailing down the River Seine during the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris yesterday [July 26].
With the males sporting eye-catching pink Bermuda shorts complete with Gombey inspired pins, and the females in white dresses with triangle accents, the team looked resplendent as they waved to the thousands of spectators lining the banks of the river.

Around 6,500 athletes from 205 delegations travelled on boats and barges past some the most famous landmarks in the French capital city.
Once their barge arrived at the Trocadéro, an historic area of Paris, Bermuda’s athletes posed for photographs beneath the Eiffel Tower before triple jumper Jah-Nhai Perinchief and sailor Adriana Penruddocke performed their flag-bearing duties.
Triathlete Dame Flora Duffy, the Olympic champion, was absent from the event as she prepares for her race, but did post a photograph of her wearing the team outfit on social media.
