Appeal: Help Locate 70-Year-Old Janet Niklaus
[Updated] The Bermuda Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 70-year-old Janet Niklaus.
A police spokesperson said, “Ms. Niklaus, a Bermudian National, is described as being 5’ 10” in height, medium built, dark complexioned, with short, dark brown, curly hair.
“She was last seen around 8:00 a.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024, in the area of Whale Bay Road, Southampton . When last seen she was wearing a light blue or grey, knee length dress.
“Anyone with information on the whereabouts of 70-year-old Janet Niklaus, is asked to call the main police number, 295-0011.”
Update 10.24pm: A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service [BPS] continues to seek the public’s assistance in locating 70-year-old Janet Niklaus. We wish to thank those individuals who have so far come forward with information on her whereabouts.
“We are appealing for residents of the Whale Bay Road, Southampton area who have CCTV systems, to please check your devices to see whether they may have captured any images of Ms. Niklaus from around 8:00 a.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024. Ms. Niklaus, a Bermudian National, is described as being 5’ 10” in height, medium built, dark complexioned, with short, dark brown, curly hair.
“Updated information is, she was last seen walking west on Middle Road near the junction with Whale Bay Road, Southampton shortly after 8:00 a.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024. When last seen she was wearing a light blue or grey knee length dress. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of 70-year-old Janet Niklaus, is asked to call the main police number, 295-0011.”
