Bermuda Starts Competing In Caribbean Squash

Bermuda is among six countries that began competing in the Caribbean Area Squash Association senior championships, at Georgetown Club and the National Racquet Center in Guyana.

In the men’s open division, Anaya Smith defeated Kemar Lord from Barbados, and Taylor Carrick defeated Robert Cameron from Barbados 11-3, 11-6, 11-3.

Brendon Fourie lost 11-1, 11-2, 11-1 to Jason-Ray Khalil from Guyana, and Matthew Elliot was defeated 11-5, 11-4, 11-2 to Samuel Ince-Carvalhal from Guyana.

Abigail Brewer lost 11-1, 11-1, 11-4 in the women’s open division to Sumairaa Suleman from Barbados.
