Bermuda Youth Connect Voter Registration Drive

Bermuda Youth Connect and Bermuda is Love will be hosting a Voter Registration Drive in Hamilton on Wednesday, August 21st to “ensure that young people are prepared to make their voice heard in the next election.”

A spokesperson said, “Bermuda Youth Connect was created in the wake of the 2020 snap-election to create more civic awareness and engagement amongst young people. In line with this mission, we are hosting a Voter Registration Drive with Bermuda is Love to ensure that young people are prepared to make their voice heard in the next election.

“If you are eligible to vote, visit us at Nellie’s Walk, outside of City Hall, on Wednesday, August 21st between 11AM and 5PM to register to vote or check your voter registration status. You will also have the opportunity to connect with your Constituency representatives and win fun giveaways!

“If you live in Constituency 36, Sandy North, there is no better time than now to get ready to vote in the by-election on October 4th! To identify your Constituency, visit elections.gov.bm, find “Constituencies” and click “Find my Constituency” or “Constituency Boundaries”.

“BYC is eager to involve more young people interested in civic engagement, political discourse, and more.
