Cheyenne Tavares Returns To BCB As Intern
Cheyenne Tavares returned to the Bermuda Cricket Board as an intern after her first year studying sport management at Bournemouth University, building on her previous experience from 2022.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB] is pleased to announce the return of summer intern Cheyenne Tavares.
“Cheyenne first came to us in 2022 as a summer intern to build her work experience for college applications. She was involved in many projects, ranging from finance to marketing, and even assisted in our prize giving ceremony using her expertise as an audio engineer.
“After completing her first year as a sport management student at Bournemouth University in the UK, she has decided to return to continue learning about working in the sport industry.”
Ms Tavares stated, “I’m really excited to be back at the cricket board and continuing to see what it’s like working in the sports industry. I’ve already come across some elements I’ve learned in university, which was really cool to see, and I’m looking forward to seeing what things I learn here [the Bermuda Cricket Board] appear in my course when I go back to university come September time.
“I’ve had such a positive experience working with Executive Director Calvin Blankendal and Administrative Assistant Samantha Robinson that I truly recommend coming to the Bermuda Cricket Board if students are looking for work experience in the sport industry or wanting to build their CV.”
