No Lifeguards At Horseshoe Bay Today
The Department of Parks announced that lifeguards are unavailable at Horseshoe Bay Beach today due to Hurricane Ernesto damage and advised caution due to debris.
The Government said, “The Department of Parks advises the public that due to damage sustained by the lifeguard tower at Horseshoe Bay Beach from Hurricane Ernesto, lifeguards will not be on duty today. Additionally, all beachgoers are strongly urged to swim with caution due to the potential presence of debris in the waters following Hurricane Ernesto’s passage over the weekend.
“Lifeguards are in the process of removing High Surf warning signs across beaches around the Island. Today, heavy machinery is being used to help clear Horseshoe Bay Beach of debris and hazards left by the storm.”

Here are some of the big problems that plague Bermuda
and have been for many years, unfortunately there never has been :-
No plan “B” or alernative plan for the present or the future .
No forward thinking.
No financial Prudence.
No infrastructure program .
Financial loss .
No ” What if theory”.
A Government to complicated to manage .
A failing public Education system
Too many financial blunders .
Anarchy on our roads .
A National debt of gigantic proportions.
Loss of several major Businesses which have gone to overseas ownership.
Pandemic with great loss of life.
Inflation out of proportion to our economy .
Brain drain .
Many People have departed.
Bermudians do not invest in their own country.
No country can survive with out as reasonable cash flow .
How can we support those who can’t or don’t want to work.
An annual budget that is not working should be revised sooner than later .
These are desperate time to say the lease .
What is the Plan ?
Is there no Plan?
Is this what happens when the are too many cooks in the kitchen?
The man with the loudest voice who shouts down the others usually always wins .
We have so many laws here, people do not know whether they are going or coming.
Do we have ears but can not hear ?
Why are we the island of NO ! We should be the island of GO !
