Perinchief To Compete In Olympics Today
Jah-Nhai Perinchief is set to make his Olympic debut when he competes in the men’s triple jump qualifiers today [August 7] at 2:15pm Bermuda time.
Perinchief is the sole athlete to represent Bermuda of this year’s Olympics in track and field, and one of two track and field athletes we have overall as we will also have Jessica Lewis competing in track and field at the Paralympics, which will start after the Olympics concludes.
“This is a long time coming,” Perinchief said during his ‘The Best Interview The Best’ interview. “I missed out on the previous Olympics, but I was still in college, and it’s given me more time to learn some stuff.
He will be competing in Group A, and a screenshot from the official Olympic site showing the grouping is below.
