PLP Mourns Former MP Kenneth Bascome
The Progressive Labour Party offered condolences to Kenneth Bascome’s family, honoring his legacy as a former Member of Parliament and Mayor of St. George’s.
A spokesperson said, “The Progressive Labour Party extends its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of Kenneth Bascome, who sadly passed away.
“Kenneth Bascome served Bermuda as a former Member of Parliament and as Mayor of St. George’s, always striving to enhance its vibrancy and preserve its historical significance.
“His contributions to Bermuda’s political and civic life will be remembered and appreciated by all who had the privilege of working with him.
“In this time of grief, we join the people of St. George’s and the entire Bermuda community in honoring his memory and offering our prayers and support to his family. May he rest in peace.”
