Shotocup Kata Classic To Be Held On Sept 29
The Shotocup Kata Classic returns for its 5th year and will be held on September 29 at the Whitney Institute.
A spokesperson said, “The Shotocup Kata Classic is back for its 5th year, and we are excited to announce this landmark event will be held on September 29, 2024, at the Whitney Institute, Bermuda. This year’s competition will continue to showcase the very best in karate kata performances and celebrate the tradition and excellence that have come to define the Shotocup Kata Classic.
“Since its inception, the Shotocup Kata Classic has stood as a beacon of resilience and dedication. Originally launched during the pandemic, it was among the first martial arts events to be held under stringent guidelines, setting a new standard for safety and commitment to the sport. The event’s ongoing success is a testament to the vision and perseverance of directors Edmond Johnson and Arnold Allen, as well as the enduring support of the Shotocup family.

Why are all theses events karate only why wont they allow other styles to compete. Back in the day sensei AL had all styles under 1 roof this organization has split it all up .Fire the head of BMAF and bring back real arts
