Former top Bermuda swimmers Lisa Blackburn and Julian Fletcher are among the travelling contingent of supporters cheering on the island’s athletes at the Olympic Games in Paris.

Blackburn, who represented Bermuda at the Pan American Games in Toronto in 2015, met with Katura Horton-Perinchief, the island’s chef de mission, at the Olympic Village, which is five miles north of Paris, and has also attended swimming events.

Meanwhile, Fletcher, who competed for Bermuda at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, the Pan Am Games in Toronto in 2015 and the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014, was spotted at the triathlon supporting Dame Flora Duffy, Erica Hawley and Tyler Smith.
