Milan Butterfield Assists In Basford Draw
Bermudian footballer Kacy Milan Butterfield played a pivotal role in Basford United’s 1-1 draw away to Hebburn Town in the Northern Premier League Premier Division yesterday [August 24].
Midfielder Butterfield, who joined Basford from Stourbridge in the summer, saw his shot parried by the Hebburn goalkeeper in the 33rd minute and into the path of Ash Chambers who slotted home.
“Kacy’s shot from range is parried by the keeper and Ash is the quickest to react to poke us into the lead!” the club tweeted.
Hebburn equalised in the fifth minute of added time through a penalty from Olly Martin.
