Allied World Staff Volunteered At BAMZ
As part of their ongoing commitment to making a positive impact on the community, Allied World volunteered at the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo [BAMZ] in Flatts on Wednesday, September 11th.
Colm Singleton, EVP, Head of Bermuda, and Global Markets Claims Group, said, “Allied World is proud to support this great organization. Our team enjoyed going behind the scenes to help for the afternoon.”
A spokesperson said, “This was the second time the company volunteered at BAMZ. On this occasion, a team of close to 30 Allied World employees assisted with labor-intensive tasks, including cleaning the coastal walkway, Harrington Sound shoreline and various animal exhibits, as well as bottling jars of locally produced honey.”
Joanne Chisnall, Volunteer Engagement Officer of the Bermuda Zoological Society [BZS], said, “It was great to see enthusiastic people turn out and give their support of our organization and facility. Allied World team’s enthusiasm was infectious as they worked through a hot humid day.” BZS is the main charity that supports the work of the BAMZ.
A spokesperson added, “Founded in 2001 in Bermuda, Allied World is an involved member of the community and is proud to have their headquarters on the island.”
