Auto Solutions Hosts Six Summer Students
Auto Solutions is hosting six summer students — Chelsea Almeida, Jacob King, Khyari Tacklyn-Smith, Jason Lines, Amari Stewart and Sir Devent – offering them hands-on experience in the automotive industry.
A spokesperson said, “This summer Auto Solutions hosted a group of 6 students who gained hands-on experience across various departments within the automotive dealership.
“Chelsea Almeida, a recent honours graduate from Berkeley joined the service and administration teams, learning to apply her knowledge to real-world challenges. Jacob King, joined the parts department for the duration of the summer while Khyari Tacklyn-Smith and Jason Lines assisted the car wash department.
“Returning summer student Amari Stewart has now embarked on an apprenticeship with Auto Solutions to further develop his industry skills. Sir Devent, an MSA student, assisted the workshop technicians following a two-year apprenticeship where he gained experience from the service team on Monday afternoons throughout the school year.

Sir Devent said, “Over two years as an apprentice at Auto Solutions, I have built valuable skills as well as a substantial amount of knowledge and information regarding the mechanical field. I aspire to be an electrical mechanical engineer and I am grateful to Auto Solutions for helping me start my career pathway.”
Jahmal Watts, Auto Solutions Service Manager said, “As a team, we really enjoy working with the summer students to give them a comprehensive understanding and behind-the-scenes look at how each department functions and collaborates. The students have all impressed us with their strong work ethic, eagerness to learn new skills and commitment to their development.”
