Milaun Perott Called To Bermuda Bar
Appleby announced that Milaun Perott was called to the Bermuda Bar on September 6th before Justice Shade Subair Williams.
A spokesperson said, “Milaun completed both the Graduate Diploma of Law and the Legal Practice Course with Master of Laws in Professional Legal Practice at The University of Law. Prior to that, she obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University, majoring in Law and Business with a minor in Economics. Milaun received the Appleby Legal Education Scholarship in 2021 and interned with the firm in 2021 and 2022.
“Milaun began her pupillage with Appleby in September 2023. In her first-year of the programme she completed three, four-month seats, rotating from the Dispute Resolution, Insurance and Corporate departments, where she was mentored by Khiyara Krige [Counsel], Matthew Carr [Partner] and Jane Walker [Senior Associate], respectively.
“Milaun is currently in her second year of Appleby’s legal trainee programme. She recently began her final seat, which is 12-months, in the Insurance department under the continued mentorship of Matthew Carr.”

Milaun has shown that she is capable of quickly assimilating information and applying this to an array of client fact patterns.
