Police Confirm: Man Injured In Warwick Shooting
A man has been injured in a shooting in the Warwick area this evening [Sept 12] the police have confirmed.
A police spokesperson said, “Shortly after 9pm on Thursday, 12 September 2024, police received several 911 calls regarding gunshots being heard in the Quarry Hill Road, Warwick area.
“On arrival at the scene, it was ascertained that a man had been shot. That man has been transported to King Edward Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries, the extent of which is not known at this time.
“Police have cordoned off the scene while it is being forensically examined. Anyone who may have information regarding this shooting incident is encouraged to call police on 211 or Detective Sergeant Anneka Donawa on 717-2250.”
