Women’s Beach Volleyball Team Win Bronze
Bermuda under-21 women’s team of Isabella Sousa and Hailey Trott won the bronze medal at the Eastern Caribbean Volleyball Association [ECVA] Under-21 Beach Volleyball Championships in St Kitts and Nevis at the weekend.
Sousa and Trott lost 2-1 in the semi-finals to Kurtice Jules and Marie-Therese St Clair, of St Lucia, before being awarded victory over Antigua and Barbuda’s Jaya Isaac Carr and Jassania Joseph, who had to default because of an injury during the game.
Bermuda’s under-21 men’s team of Riley Morbey and Marcus Rodrigues finished sixth overall.
