BFA Hold 2024 Annual Congress Meeting
The Bermuda Football Association held its Annual Congress Meeting on Thursday [Sept 26] at the Athene Center at Bermuda College.
A spokesperson said, “The meeting marked a historic occasion as it was the first time a Concacaf official, Director, Member Services – Caribbean, Howard McIntosh attended the BFA Congress.
“The Congress was well attended by Member Associations [MAs] and featured insightful discussions on various topics related to the development and growth of football in Bermuda. Key highlights of the Congress included:
- “Re-election of BFA Leadership: President Mark Wade and Second Vice President Crenstant Williams were re-elected unopposed for their respective positions.
- “New Executive Council Members: Anthony Francis and Troy Brimmer were re-elected to the Executive Council, while Jibri Smith and Nasir Wade were elected as new members.
- “Presentation of Child Safeguarding Policy: The BFA presented its Child Safeguarding Policy, demonstrating its commitment to protecting the welfare of young footballers.
- “Clean Independent Audit Report: The BFA shared a clean, independent audit report, highlighting its financial transparency and accountability.
“The BFA is grateful for the continued support of its Member Associations and looks forward to another successful year of football development in Bermuda.”
