Armstrong Scores Twice, Named Rookie Of Week
Andrew Armstrong scored twice for his University of Dayton Men’s Soccer team and also earned Atlantic 10 Conference rookie of the week honours.
The Atlantic 10 Conference said, “Armstrong scored a brace and chipped in an assist in Dayton’s 7-1 win over George Washington last Saturday. The freshman forward only needed 64 minutes to record five points and picked up the game-winning goal with his strike in the 24th minute. The Pompton Lakes, N.J. native has now started the past two games for the Flyers, who have not lost since Aug. 25.”
