Corona League Football Season Underway
Rhinos, YGS and Robin Hood recorded wins on the opening weekend of the Corona League season at Goose Gosling Field.
Rhinos defeated Terrace Onions 4-0 thanks to goals from Dashun Butterfield [2], Zahn Richardson and Jevon Minors on Friday [October 25].
In the later game, YGS beat Inter 3-0, with goals from Rover Machado, Lucas DaSilva and Kovin Moodley.
Hood, who won the Corona Charity Shield last week, defeated Footy Kings 16-1 on Saturday.
The scorers for Hood were Pete Taylor [4], Evan O’Bierne, Tobi Mayall, Patrick Phelan, Harry Ryland, and David Furtado [8].
Jermaine Steede netted for Kings.
