Footballers in the Under 18, Under 13, and Under 15 Appleby Youth Leagues were in action, with the North Village Rams, Dandy Town Hornets, PHC Zebras, St. David’s, Warwick Football Academy, and FC Bascome all earning wins.

Under 18 Appleby Youth League

Somerset Trojans 0 – North Village Rams 4

The North Village Rams defeated the Somerset Trojans 4 – 0.

After a scoreless first half, Norico Furbert gave the North Village Rams the lead in the 49th minute and then doubled the lead in the 54th minute. In the 76th minute, Malik Paynter made it 3 – 0 to the North Village Rams, and then in the 90th minute Jordan Williams made it 4 – 0.

Dandy Town Hornets 2 – Devonshire Colts 1

The Dandy Town Hornets came from behind to defeat the Devonshire Colts 2 – 1.

Isaiah O’Brien gave the Devonshire Colts the lead in the 12th minute, but the Dandy town Hornets drew level at 1 – 1 in the 17th minute when Dakayo Leverock scored.

The Dandy Town Hornets got the go-ahead goal and the winner in stoppage time from Azai Dyer.

PHC Zebras 5 – Vasco 0

The PHC Zebras defeated Vasco 5 – 0, with five different players finding the back of the net.

Ismail Ali gave the PHC Zebras the lead in the third minute and Xave Smith doubled the lead three minutes later. Rahkeem Wilson extended the PHC Zebras lead to 3 – 0 in the 18th minute as they took that lead to the break.

In the 51st minute, Damori Baxter made it 4 – 0 and then Ravi Simmons scored in the 84th minute to earn the PHC Zebras the 5 – 0 victory.

Under 13 Appleby Youth League

PHC Zebras 3 – North Village Rams 1

The PHC Zebras came from a goal down to defeat the North Village Rams 3 – 1.

The North Village Rams took the lead in the fifth minute with Jahroy Woods-Lottimore finding the back of the net, but Kaezai Outerbridge equalized in the 28th minute as the teams went to the break level at 1 – 1.

The PHC Zebras took the lead in the 52nd minute with Chase Simmons scoring, and then six minutes later the PHC Zebras added a third through Shiloh Anderson.

Warwick Football Academy 3 – St. David’s 4

St. David’s edged Warwick Football Academy 4 – 3 in a seesaw battle.

Warwick Football Academy took the lead in the third minute with Cillian McGlynn scoring. St. David’s leveled the match at 1 – 1 with Duvontae Binns Martin scoring in the 12th minute, but three minutes later Warwick Football Academy retook the lead with Caleb Mello finding the net. In the 25th minute, Binns Martin added his second goal of the game to draw St. David’s level at 2 – 2.

For a third time, Warwick Football Academy took the lead, this time in the 55th minute as Cairo Tucker scored, but an own goal pulled St. David’s level six minutes later.

In the 63rd minute, Freddie Jones scored the winner for St. David’s.

Under 15 Appleby Youth League

Warwick Football Academy 4 – Dandy Town Hornets 0

Warwick Football Academy defeated the Dandy Town Hornets 4 – 0.

Maximillian Kimberley gave Warwick Football Academy the lead in the 40th minute. ZacChaeus Grant doubled the lead in the 51st minute, and then one minute later Ja’Zhari Ingham made it 3 – 0 to Warwick Football Academy. Cillian McGlynn struck in the 56th minute to make it 4 – 0 to Warwick Football Academy.

PHC Zebras 2 – Vasco 1

The PHC Zebras edged Vasco 2 – 1.

The PHC Zebras took a 1 – 0 lead in the 15th minute with Lailen Davis scoring and they took that lead to the break.

Aaron King doubled the PHC Zebras lead in the 45th minute. Vasco pulled a goal back in the 70th minute through a Jaylen Medeiros strike.

FC Bascome 5 – Devonshire Colts 0

FC Bascome defeated Devonshire Colts 5 – 0. Jeon Wolfe scored a hat trick within the first 23 minute to earn FC Bascome a 3 – 0 lead. Isaac Todd added the fourth in the 25th minute, and then Brayton Browne made it 5 – 0 with a goal in the 50th minute.
