Green & Dore Earn BTA Olympic Distance Title
Will Green and Marie Dore were crowned the Bermuda Triathlon Association’s national Olympic distance triathlon male and female champions.
Green was clocked across the line in a time of 2:17.18, he clocked a time of 23.42 on the swim, before clocking 1:12.15 on the bike course before completing the run course in a time of 41.21, Geoff Smith was the second male finisher and third overall with a time of 2:27.23, and Matt Thompson rounded out the male podium finishing fourth overall in a time of 2:28.11.
Dore was second to cross the line in 2:19.38, she completed the swim in 22.23, she then completed the bike course in 1:11.59, and then the run course in 45.16. With a time of 2:29.22 Ashley Couper was the second female finisher and fifth overall, and Karen Smith rounded out the female podium finishing sixth overall with a time of 2:29.45.
