Kamau Leverock Plays For Gujarat Greats
Bermudian cricketer Kamau Leverock played for Gujarat Greats in the Legends League Cricket [LLC] against India Capitals at the Molana Azad Stadium in Jammu today [Oct 7].
The Capitals, who won by four wickets, restricted the Greats to 134 runs for the loss of six wickets from their 20 overs.
Leverock was due to bat at No 10.
In reply, the Capitals scored 135 for six off 20 overs to claim a hard-fought victory.
Leverock bowled three overs for 16 runs, including the final over of the match, which went for six runs.
The Bermudian, who became eligible for the T20 league after retiring from international cricket in March, was drafted by the Gujarat franchise at the auction in August.
He went for a price of 11 lakh [$13,000].
The Greats return to action against Konark Suryas Odisha on Friday [October 11].
