[Updated with photos] The 2024 Bermuda Gombey Festival is taking place this evening [Oct 26] at the Botanical Gardens, and you can tune in and watch live below.

A Government spokesperson previously said, “The annual Bermuda Gombey Festival is a family-friendly event that celebrates the island’s rich Gombey heritage, showcasing the talents of local Gombey troupes through mesmerizing dance, music, and costumes. Whether you’re a long-time fan or a first-time attendee, this is your chance to experience one of Bermuda’s most iconic cultural displays.

“Special features of the festival include live Performances of Gombey troupes from across Bermuda, who will take to the stage and bring the rhythms and energy that defines this beloved art form. There will also be a community art project called ‘Gombeys in the Gardens’ with The Chewstick Foundation. Everyone is welcome to join in painting and celebrating Bermuda’s culture through art.”
