Open Mat Athletes To Compete In Texas
A team of nine athletes from Open Mat Bermuda will be hunting for medals at the Pan IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu No-Gi Championship in Texas.
The competition, which runs from tomorrow [November 1] until Sunday, will be held at the Fort Worth Convention Centre and Arena, Fort Worth, Texas.
Representing Open Mat – a Brazilian Jui-Jitsu Gym on Mills Creek Road – are Ryan Hopkins, Reina Maypa, Greg Maybury, James Adams, Ramazan Ramazanov, Lonnie Bascome, Jason McAlpine, Aaron Dyer, the gym founder, and Chris Regan, the head instructor.
