Robin Hood Claim Corona Charity Shield
Robin Hood claimed victory in the Corona League Charity Shield after beating Terrace Onions 4-3 on penalties at Goose Gosling Field yesterday [October 18].
The match ended 2-2 after regulation time, with Pete Taylor and Chris McCarthy scoring for Hood.
Andy Forster and Jack Higson netted for Onions.
The Corona League will feature seven teams this season – Terrace Onions, Robin Hood, FC Rhino, YGSFC, InterBDA, Footy Kings and Tuff Dogs.
The league season starts on Friday [October 25], with Onions playing FC Rhino at 7 pm, and YGSFC facing InterBDA at 9 pm.
