Wushu Championships Set For November
The Bermuda Open Wushu Championships will be held at Whitney Institute Middle School at 10 am on November 2.
Organised by the Bermuda Sanshou Association [BSA] and Aries Sports Centre, the event will feature taolu [forms] and sanda [Chinese kickboxing].
Garon Wilkinson, the BSA president, wrote on social media: “Come and witness Bermuda’s best as well as up-and-coming wushu athletes in the Bermuda Wushu Championships.
“All athletes including overseas competitors are welcome to compete in the open event.”
Registration costs $20, with admission costing $10.
