Thanksgiving Challenge On The Hill Results
Teenager Arman Newton won the Thanksgiving Challenge on the Hill, while Sarah Dwyer led the Ladies division and Lewis MacFarlane led the juniors.
A spokesperson said, “The weather held off long enough to complete the 36-hole event as the rain came soon after! Congratulations to teenager Arman Newton who carded a 4 over par 112 over 36 holes to capture the Thanksgiving Challenge on the Hill title. Fellow junior, Johnny Bart finished 2nd at 13 over par with a two-round total of 121 and rounding out the podium was Matthew Durrant with a two-round total of 123.
“Congratulations to Sarah Dwyer who finished on top of the Ladies division and Lewis MacFarlane who led the junior division which was played under the Stableford format with 121 points. Charlie Smith followed closely behind with 118 total points and Isaac Davis rounded out the top 3 spots in the junior division with 107 points. Well played to all and congrats to the proximity prize winners!”
