Harbourside Markets Set For Nov 16 & Dec 7
BUEI will be hosting their Harbourside Markets on November 16 and December 7 with vendors, holiday gifts, food, and more.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Underwater Exploration [BUEI] Institute is excited to announce the return of our highly anticipated Harbourside Markets! On Saturday, November 16th and Saturday, December 7th from 10am until 4pm, local vendors and artisans will be showcasing their products and providing perfect gifts for the Holiday Season.
“This free event will feature a wide range of unique products for purchase, from forty local vendors on each of BUEI’s three levels. Items for sale include Women’s Clothing, Jewellery, Herbal Tea Blends, Luxury Handbags, Candles, Aromatherapy Oils and Diffusers, Bermuda Cedar Goods, Children’s Books and Toys, Home Décor, Baked Goods, and so much more! There will also be a selection of food vendors operating throughout the Markets.
“In addition to the Markets, BUEI will host a complimentary screening of two holiday themed films throughout the day in the Tradewinds Auditorium. [Wheelchair Accessible].
“The first film, set to start at 11am, is the 2004 holiday movie ‘The Polar Express’. The animated film is a tale about a young hero boy who boards on a powerful magical train that’s headed to the North Pole and Santa Claus’ home on Christmas Eve night.
“The second film, scheduled for 1pm, is the 2009 animated comedy, ‘Santa Buddies’. The film begins at the North Pole with Santa Claus and his dog, Santa Paws, taking a look at the magical Christmas Icicle, which is melting because of nobody believing in Christmas anymore and if it continues to melt, Christmas will be gone forever!
