Marshall Diel & Myers Appoints Patrick Goodings
Marshall Diel & Myers Limited [MDM] has appointed Patrick Goodings as a Senior Associate.
A spokesperson said, “Bermuda firm Marshall Diel & Myers Limited [MDM] has expanded its family team with the appointment of barrister Patrick Goodings.
“Patrick, who has 13 years’ experience at the Bar in the UK, joins MDM from Trinity Chambers in the UK as a Senior Associate in MDM’s Family and Matrimonial department.
“Patrick has particular expertise in financial proceedings arising from relationship breakdown, divorce, child protection matters, child abduction and arrangements for children and is also a qualified arbitrator. He has been listed in the Legal 500 as a leading Junior in Family Law since 2022 which is recognition of his significant experience working on key high profile cases and strong market recognition from both his peers and clients. Patrick was recently commended by Legal 500 for his advocacy skills, with clients praising his ability to build a strong rapport with them and to fight for their interests.
“MDM’s Family and Matrimonial team is the leading and largest in Bermuda and is headed up by the island’s pre-eminent family lawyer, Georgia Marshall. Georgia has over 35 years of experience and is a member of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers [IAML] and an arbitrator.
“Patrick’s appointment takes the team up to six members, including four lawyers.”
