Scott Barnes Finishes Third In New York
Karting driver Scott Barnes stepped up his preparation for the upcoming Skusa SuperNationals 27 in Las Vegas by claiming a podium finish at a club race in Orange County, New York, yesterday [November 3].
Barnes competed in the Shifter class at the Oakland Valley Race Park in Cuddebackville, finishing third in his race.
“I popped up to New York to get some testing in for the Skusa SuperNats in Las Vegas in two weeks,” Barnes told Bernews.
“It was nice to do something different at a local club-level race.
“It was my first time racing at the track [Hannen Motorsports], which is always fun.
“I’ve raced at more than 40 tracks internationally now. [That's] pretty cool coming from a small island.”
The Skusa SuperNationals 27 will be held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway from November 13 to 17.
