Vasco Da Gama Defeat Southampton Rangers
Vasco da Gama FC secured a 2-1 victory over Southampton Rangers at BAA Field on Sunday.
Vasco, led by player-coach Leo Burgess, took control early, as Burgess converted two penalties in the first half to give his team a 2-0 lead.
Southampton Rangers fought back in the second half with Donte Brangman scoring to cut the deficit to 2-1. Despite increased pressure from Southampton, Vasco’s defense held firm to secure the victory.
